Clifton Park, NY

Clifton Park is a suburban town in Saratoga County, New York, 12 miles north of Albany. According to the United States Census Bureau, the 2010 population was 36,705. Dedicated to an Open Space Plan, the community is a great place to live, work and play.

With three town pools and numerous sports groups and associations, Clifton Park is a very active community. Some of the groups you may want to check out are the Clifton Park Adult Soccer Club, the Clifton Park Baseball League, the Clifton Park Piranhas, the Clifton Park Youth Hockey Association, the Plainsmen Junior League Football Club and the Halfmoon Baseball League.

A range of state parks offers hiking, cross country biking, and skimobile fans miles of fun. There are many opportunities for youth involvement in typical sports teams such as football, baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, wrestling and hockey. Adults may participate as well. Every year Clifton Park Soccer Club hosts an international tournament called the Rose and Kiernan/Clifton Park Soccer International Soccer Classic.

Clifton Park also hosts the Babe Ruth World Series for boys baseball every four years. There are also other annual events, such as Winterfest, which is where you can find the "Clifton Park Idol" in various age groups.


The Milton CAT Clifton Park Service Centers

Earthmoving and Power Systems service and support are housed in the same Clifton Park facility. The Milton CAT Clifton Park location performs an average of two CAT Certified Rebuilds a year; 13 shop service techs work in 17 fully-equipped service bays while 15 field technicians provide service to customers at their jobsites. Supporting our natural gas customers is a big portion of our work at our New York locations, and Clifton Park is no exception.
